Maynard High School Awards Inaugural Epsilon Founding Principals Scholarship

Epsilon Associates, Inc. earlier this year created the Epsilon Associates Founding Principals Scholarship, a $5,000 need-based scholarship to be awarded annually in coordination with the Maynard High School Scholarship Committee to a deserving graduating senior interested in pursuing a college degree in the STEM related fields of environmental sciences, engineering, biology, or planning.

The scholarship was established to recognize the legacy, accomplishments, and strong foundation set forth by the firm’s seven founding Principals and to acknowledge their lasting commitment to the science, engineering, and planning fields.

The scholarship was awarded in its inaugural year to Wilbert, who is planning to major in engineering at the University of Massachusetts Amherst (UMass Amherst) this fall. He was extremely appreciative of this award. Wilbert sent us a nice Thank You note that included the following:

"My family and I could not possibly express how thankful we are for the scholarship. It will be so helpful in paying for my education at UMass Amherst and we ensure that it will not go to waste. Knowing that someone outside of my family is willing to support me in such a generous way will only motivate me more."
